Variable: FAILURE_OUTCOMES

const FAILURE_OUTCOMES: readonly ["rejected", "unknown", "not_queued", "not_sent", "invalid_input", "transient"]

Defined in: packages/gala-core-sdk/dist/index.d.ts:2065

What a failure means for the operation that raised it, as one vocabulary for every app.

  • rejected: the CHAIN refused the request (a definite no). Nothing was applied, so a NEW request is safe.
  • unknown: the request MAY have been applied (a timeout, a broken connection, an acknowledgement that proves nothing, a failed confirmation). Never submit again under a fresh key: keep error.uniqueKey and confirm it.
  • not_queued: the gateway refused the write before queueing it. Nothing is pending.
  • not_sent: the request never left (error.phase === 'pre_send') for a reason outside the call itself: the signer or the wallet failed (locked, unreachable, the person declined), the key provider or the token resolver failed, or no key was available yet. Nothing is pending and nothing was transmitted, so repeating the call is safe and may succeed once the cause (an unlocked wallet) is gone.
  • invalid_input: the call itself cannot work (a bad argument, a missing signer or wallet, an unknown token or pool, a corrupt stored key). Repeating the same call fails the same way. Such an error is also pre-send (isPreSendError), but the input is what has to change.
  • transient: a read or connection failed with no state change. Repeating the same call is safe and may succeed.

This module has no imports: the failure view (FailureView.outcome) and the classifier both read the closed set from here.
