Gala Launchpad SDK 9.0.0-rc.5 / index / LaunchpadSDKError

Class: LaunchpadSDKError

Defined in: packages/launchpad-sdk/dist/errors/LaunchpadSDKError.d.ts:35

Error raised by the Launchpad SDK for API, bundler, chain, and validation failures.

Codes of a launchpad write (sdk.launchpad.*, the bundler transport):

  • WALLET_ACCOUNT_CHANGED: the wallet's active account is not the account the signer was built for (details.walletAccount, details.signerAccount; walletAccount is null when the wallet reported no account); nothing was signed or sent.
  • INVALID_SIGNER_OPTIONS (details): a signer was built with an option it cannot honour (GalaWalletSigner verifyActiveAccount without an Ethereum key).
  • WALLET_USER_REJECTED: the person declined the signature in their wallet (details.walletCode when the wallet gave one, e.g. 4001); nothing was sent.
  • LAUNCHPAD_SIGNING_FAILED: any other signing failure; nothing was sent.
  • BUNDLE_REQUEST_FAILED (HTTP refusal of /bundle or its confirmation), INVALID_BUNDLE_RESPONSE, INVALID_LAUNCHPAD_DTO, BUNDLE_FAILED (the chain refused it), BUNDLE_CONFIRMATION_TIMEOUT (the deadline of wait() passed with no verdict; details.lastReadFailure is the last confirmation read that failed, when the reads were failing).
  • BUNDLE_WAIT_ABORTED (details.method, details.bundleId): the signal given to wait() aborted; the bundle itself may still be processed (attach resumes it).
  • INVALID_BUNDLE_ATTACHMENT (details.field): sdk.launchpad.attach was given a bundle it could not confirm; nothing was sent.

Example

const error = new LaunchpadSDKError('Sale was rejected', 'SALE_REJECTED', {
status: 400,
chainMessage: 'Insufficient balance',
});
console.log(error.code);

stackTraceLimit

static stackTraceLimit: number

Defined in: node_modules/.pnpm/@types+node@26.6.5/node_modules/@types/node/globals.d.ts:67

The Error.stackTraceLimit property specifies the number of stack frames collected by a stack trace (whether generated by new Error().stack or Error.captureStackTrace(obj)).

The default value is 10 but may be set to any valid JavaScript number. Changes will affect any stack trace captured after the value has been changed.

If set to a non-number value, or set to a negative number, stack traces will not capture any frames.

Inherited from

Error.stackTraceLimit

Methods

captureStackTrace()

static captureStackTrace(targetObject, constructorOpt?): void

Defined in: node_modules/.pnpm/@types+node@26.6.5/node_modules/@types/node/globals.d.ts:51

Creates a .stack property on targetObject, which when accessed returns a string representing the location in the code at which Error.captureStackTrace() was called.

const myObject = {};
Error.captureStackTrace(myObject);
myObject.stack; // Similar to `new Error().stack`

The first line of the trace will be prefixed with ${myObject.name}: ${myObject.message}.

The optional constructorOpt argument accepts a function. If given, all frames above constructorOpt, including constructorOpt, will be omitted from the generated stack trace.

The constructorOpt argument is useful for hiding implementation details of error generation from the user. For instance:

function a() {
b();
}

function b() {
c();
}

function c() {
// Create an error without stack trace to avoid calculating the stack trace twice.
const { stackTraceLimit } = Error;
Error.stackTraceLimit = 0;
const error = new Error();
Error.stackTraceLimit = stackTraceLimit;

// Capture the stack trace above function b
Error.captureStackTrace(error, b); // Neither function c, nor b is included in the stack trace
throw error;
}

a();
